The Cooper Family Partners history is about 5 siblings. They grew up in a business environment that included sweeping floors and packing household goods in an old two story warehouse which was part of the small moving and storage business that the family purchased in 1968.
The previous owner was an old gentleman that had started his business in 1898. He had developed a business model of honesty, full dedicated service and integrity. On occasions, if he could not get his truck to the shippers house on time and knowing that their telephone service had been cut off, his policy was to send a taxi driver to the residence regardless of the distance and deliver a message. The message included an apology and enough cash to pay for food and lodging until the truck arrived.
The Cooper family partners adopted the same business model as the original owner, and soon it became a National North American Van Line Carrier that won repeated awards for excellence in performance. As the business grew the warehouses became bigger and more in number. National and international distribution with the Idaho Potato Industry became the focus. Export with inter-model shipping containers was introduced into the services offered.
After 40 years of growth and service, urban development brought encroachment by retail development. The Partners evolved into the new culture and following their personal interests and talents and put their business experience into new areas that provides public services with the same business model that has been successful for over 40 years.
